Biography:	Ur. 12 III 1896. Od XI 1918 w WP. Służył w żandarmerii wojskowej. W 1921 zweryfikowany w stopniu por. sł. st. z starszeństwem od 1 VI 1919. Służył w 7 dywizjonie żandarmerii w Poznaniu. Awansowany do stopnia kpt. sł. st. żand. 1 VII 1923. Od 1930 służył w 8 dywizjonie żandarmerii w Toruniu. Awansowany do stopnia mjr sł. st. 1 I 1935. w latach 1936-1939 d-ca 8 dywizjonu żandarmerii. Podczas kampanii wrześniowej 1939 był szefem żandarmerii Armii „Pomorze”. Poległ 22 IX 1939 pod Łomiankami, podczas przebijania się do Warszawy.
